50th Reunion was a great Success!

The 50th Class Reunion for the Grove Class of 1962 held July 7, 2012 was a great success!  Thanks to all who did such a great job, especially Georgia Lemons.  It was great to reconnect with old friends, and I am sure everyone is looking forward to the next event.

Welcome to Grove '62

I guess I could say this site is dedicated to ancient history, as we are all feeling more ancient every day.  But a funny thing happens as time goes on, and if you are like me, you start to remember some of the best times of your life.

Grove was certainly one of those times.  Speaking for myself, the time we all spent at Grove was what shaped me into the person I am today.  And many of those experiences were shared with you - my classmates.  So I am proud to begin this little blog, a site that I hope will become a good place to connect and share information.  Many of us are on Facebook, and it has it's place, but we need somewhere to find out what is happening with everyone quickly.

One good resource, which I have noted on the right side, is the main Grove website, started a few years ago by some members of the Class of '52.  There is a lot of news there, along with the scanned yearbooks of many classes, including ours.  What I hope to do here is assist those who are trying to collect contact information and to provide a forum for all of us to simply reconnect online when we would like to do so.  And we're not just limited to classmates - friends and family are also welcome.

So feel free to comment, and if you would like to help out by posting here, I'd welcome the extra hand.  This may not be perfect, but it's a start, and I am open to suggestions!
